About Us
Your host Pat Neligan , a
retired helicopter pilot, was for 7 years the operator of a B&B on Lake
Cowichan. Having sold that property, he now offers the same comforts, good
food and hospitality at his new home, Nootka Island Wilderness Retreat, a
remote location on the outer south west coast of Nootka Island.
His oceanfront West Coast style home is situated
at the top of a cliff, overlooking the beach that is part of
the trail. It features the "Dreamcatcher", a main floor
view room with four single beds.
The Dreamcatcher includes a full breakfast.
For hikers tiring of trail mix and dehydrated foods, treat yourself to a hamburger or hotdog cooked on the
fire pit.
